Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ 'Black Watch' is currently alongside in El Ferrol, Spain, having arrived at ca. 2.30pm on Saturday 9th July 2016. The ship is collecting supplies and undergoing further assessment. It is intended that 'Black Watch' will then sail north to London Tilbury later this week for further repairs. An exact time frame for this has yet to be confirmed.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ Black Watch has set sail from Funchal, Madeira and is scheduled to arrive in El Ferrol, Spain on Saturday 9th July 2016, to collect supplies and undergo further assessment. Guests from Black Watch’s 13-night W1608 ‘Madeira, Portugal & the Azores’ cruise have returned home safely, or have settled into their alternative travel arrangements. Guests booked onto the cancelled 9-night W1609 ‘Norwegian Fjords’ cruise, which was due to sail from London Tilbury on 8th July 2016, have been informed by letter/e-mail, and can call the office on 01473 742424 with any queries.

'Black Watch' guests were flown from Funchal, Madeira back to the UK, into London Stansted and London Gatwick airports, on three private charter aircraft yesterday [Monday 4th July 2016], and have returned to their homes. Fred. Olsen will be starting to call guests from tomorrow [Wednesday 6th July 2016] to ensure that they arrived safely and whether they require any further assistance.

Olsen Cruise Lines can confirm that 'Black Watch' guests being flown back to the UK from Funchal, Madeira on the three private charter aircraft will be arriving into London later today [Monday 4th July 2016]: 1) Flight ZT901 - ETA 17.30hrs at London Stansted 2) Flight ZT902 - ETA 18.15hrs at London Stansted 3) Flight TOM8109 - ETA 20.40hrs at London Gatwick (North Terminal)
