Book your ‘All Inclusive Holiday’ with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines in 2015/16

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has launched a new brochure – 'All Inclusive Holidays' – targeted specifically at the 'yet to cruise' market. The brochure contains simple, all inclusive pricing, based on one cabin type, and tackles some of the perceived challenges of cruising head on, using more familiar mainstream holiday vocabulary, such as 'Ocean View Room', rather than 'Outside Cabin'.

All the holidays featured in the new brochure – with prices starting from just £76 per person, per night – include the following:

- Comfortable en-suite accommodation

- All meals on board – from sumptuous five-course dining to casual buffets and late-night snacks

- Selected beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks*

- Tea and coffee throughout the day, including morning coffee and biscuits, afternoon tea with sandwiches and cakes, and in-cabin dining

- Leisure facilities, including gym, swimming pools and Jacuzzis

- Daily activities and lectures

- All evening entertainment, including dancing, cabaret shows and live music

- Captain’s Drinks Party and Gala Buffet

- All UK port taxes

- Baggage porterage between your cabin and the drop-off / pick-up point

Nathan Philpot, Sales and Marketing Director for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said:

“Our new ‘All Inclusive Holidays’ brochure gives a very clear picture of what you can expect from a Fred. Olsen all inclusive cruise, whether it is a relaxing scenic cruise through the Norwegian fjords or a sun-drenched voyage around the Caribbean…and best of all, almost everything is included in the price! This is why we have been voted ‘Best Value Cruise Line’ in two separate national awards on five occasions.”

The prices quoted in the new brochure include a 10% discount, which is applicable if guests book by 2nd March 2015. This is part of Fred. Olsen’s ‘The more you book, the more you save’* cruise sale, which offers savings of up to 30% if cruisers make multiple purchases in the same transaction.

Guests can also benefit from Fred. Olsen’s ‘Enjoyment Promise’**, which was launched in December 2013 and is the biggest initiative of its kind ever to take place in the UK to encourage people to try cruising; people who have never cruised with Fred. Olsen before can try a Fred. Olsen cruise, and if they do not enjoy it, Fred. Olsen will fly them home and refund their cruise fare.

Fred. Olsen cruises featured in the new great-value ‘All Inclusive Holidays’ brochure include:

- Braemar’s 14-night M1511 ‘Spanish Coastal & River Cruising’ cruise, ex Harwich on 18th April 2015. Prices start from £1,490 per person, based on two adults sharing a twin-bedded, Interior Room.

First port of call on this Spanish exploration cruise is Huelva – a maiden call for Fred. Olsen. Located at the mouth of the rivers Tinto and Odiel, which originate in the Aracena mountain range, this historic Andalusian town is home to quaint plazas, numerous monuments and an impressive Baroque-style cathedral.

Next stop is Malaga, the birthplace of Picasso. Guests can visit the Moorish Alcazaba Fortress, sample some authentic local tapas or take a tour to Alhambra Palace, which lies at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Braemar will then visit Alicante, with its bustling harbour, lined with shops, bars and restaurants; guests can also take a tour to the nearby resort of Benidorm, with over four miles of golden beach!

Braemar will then cruise along the Guadalquivir River, before arriving in the very heart of Seville. With an overnight stay in this enchanting city – the home of Flamenco – guests can visit the Plaza de España, the medieval palace of Alcázar and the UNESCO-listed Seville Cathedral – the tomb of Christopher Columbus. Guests can also enjoy the last day ofthe ‘Feria de Abril’ – ‘Seville Fair’ – where there will be a fantastic firework display to mark the end of this colourful and atmospheric event.

From the next port of call, Vigo, guests can choose to visit the much-revered Cathedral in neighbouring Santiago de Compostela, or take in one of the many local Galician wineries.

- Braemar’s 14-night M1601 ‘Caribbean & Cuba’ cruise, ex Bridgetown, Barbados (ends in Montego Bay, Jamaica) on 7th January 2016. Prices start from £1,930 per person, based on two adults sharing a twin-bedded, Interior Room (including return flights from/to London Gatwick or Manchester and transfers from / to the ship).

Braemar will then set sail for St. George’s in Grenada, where there are 45 pristine beaches and secluded coves to discover. Known as the ‘Spice Island’, the air is filled with an aromatic blend of nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and vanilla.

After a stop in Castries on the island of St. Lucia, where guests can take an aerial tram through the treetops of the lush rainforest, Braemar will arrive in St. John’s in Antigua. Take a trip to English Harbour and visit historic Nelson’s Dockyard.

Next stop is Road Town in Tortola, famous as an old pirate haunt. With a beguiling charm, it is typically ‘old-world’ Caribbean and home to Pussers Bar, the perfect place to try some legendary Caribbean rum.

Guests will then spend a day exploring Philipsburg in St. Maarten, often referred to as a ‘shopper’s paradise’, selling everything from jewellery to the newest gadgets. Braemar will then arrive in Grand Turkon the Turks & Caicos Islands. The clear turquoise sea is a haven for those wishing to swim or snorkel the reefs to see some of the local marine life.

An overnight stay in Havana in Cuba is next; home to exquisite architecture, classic American cars and a maze of cobbled streets and squares brought to life by the sensational sounds of mambo.

Final stop is Montego Bay in Jamaica, where guests will have another overnight stay before returning to the UK. A lively and vibrant town, guests can take a stroll along the main street – Gloucester Avenue – with its array of vibrant shops, bars and cafés.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines

At Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines we are very proud of our smaller ships – Bolette, Borealis and Balmoral - and the imaginative and unusual itineraries they allow us to offer. Every cruise is hand-crafted from scratch by our team of in-house Journey Planners to make sure you are not only visiting the best destinations, but at the best time to experience them.

For us, it’s not just about where we go but how we take you there. We put as much time into planning scenic cruising as we do in choosing the destinations themselves. On board, our Signature Experiences showcase the history, culture, nature and flavours of the destinations you’ll visit – from Treats of the Region, where you can enjoy local delicacies, to our Sky at Sea star-gazing sessions where you can relax with a hot toddy out on deck while our astronomer talks you through the night sky.

Plus, with each ship carrying 1,300 guests or less, our ships are small enough for us to offer a warm, friendly and personal service where nothing is ever too much trouble, as we visit a host of exciting ports in every corner of the globe.
