Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has always valued the personal touch, and its Reservations team is known for a friendly and helpful approach. Now, selected team members have had extra training, to help them specialise in a particular destination. This means that they will be even better placed to offer advice and useful information, when handling enquiries and bookings.

Celebrate Carnival Time in Tenerife with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines

Fred. Olsen’s cruise ship, Boudicca, will be in Santa Cruz, Tenerife on Carnival Day next year – 12th March 2011. Guests on cruise D1103, departing from Southampton on 6th March 2011, will have a unique opportunity to experience all the colour and excitement of the Carnival – the biggest and most spectacular outside Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.

Enhanced Shopping Experience for Fred. Olsen's Braemar

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines' has created an upmarket new Fine Jewellery shop on board its Braemar cruise ship. The new stylish boutique, in the location of the former Port Shop, on Deck 5, Lounge Deck, sells some stunning fine jewellery, including pearls, some wonderful pieces from Clogau Welsh Gold, and an extensive range of coloured gemstones, as well as watches.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has triumphed in the Cruise Critic Editors’ Picks Awards. The Ipswich-based cruise line – with its Norwegian heritage, and fleet of four smaller, traditional ships – has been voted Best for Seeing the World by the influential cruise website.

Wi-Fi Access On Board Fred. Olsen Cruise Ships

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is pleased to announce that guests can now benefit from a Wi-Fi service on board its ships. Currently, the service is live and fully operational on three ships in the fleet - Black Watch, Braemar and Balmoral. It will be available on Boudicca from January 2011.

Fred. Olsen's Boudicca Cruise Ship to Undergo Refit

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ ship, Boudicca, will enter dry-dock in early January 2011, for a refurbishment programme. The work will be carried out by the Blohm + Voss GmbH shipyard in Hamburg, when Boudicca returns from her Christmas Canary Islands cruise on 4th January 2011.

Fans of The Archers will get a treat in 2011, when Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines hosts two Archers-themed cruises, as part of its popular programme of special-interest cruises, The ArtsClub. Archers aficionados will get the chance to mingle with their favourite cast members from the long-running show, whilst cruising in luxury around the beautiful Mediterranean.
