Venture further on an extraordinary voyage with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines

Cruise further and for longer to destinations including the Eastern Mediterranean, Dalmatian Coast, Canada and Greenland on an extraordinary voyage.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ range of extraordinary voyages are longer cruises with more than 14 nights on board its fleet of smaller-sized ships Bolette, Borealis and Balmoral.

The hand-crafted itineraries have been designed to give guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the destinations they are visiting.

Itineraries include a cultural journey delving into the ancient empires and kingdoms of the Mediterranean with a glimpse into Ancient Greece at the Acropolis and the landmarks of Istanbul with the Hagia Sophia mosque and Topkapi Palace.

Alternatively, guests can sail on a cruise specially designed to cross the path of the Solar Eclipse en route to the Azores, tour Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii while on the ‘Colourful and Cosmopolitan Mediterranean’ cruise or head off the beaten track to remote destinations in Canada and Greenland.

Clare Ward, Director of Product and Customer Services at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said:

“Our extraordinary voyages have all been curated with our guests in mind to really taken them off the popular tourist trail and allow them to immerse themselves in local cultures.

“With our Itinerary Insights programme, guests can listen to engaging guest speakers who are knowledgeable about the destinations they will be visiting.

“Guests can also choose to join an insightful wildlife photography session, to take part in dance or music classes and for culinary enthusiasts, our Treats of the Region sessions offer cookery demonstrations, where guests can sample local delicacies of the places they are venturing to.

“There really is a cruise to whet every appetite.”

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines

At Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines we are very proud of our smaller ships – Bolette, Borealis and Balmoral - and the imaginative and unusual itineraries they allow us to offer. Every cruise is hand-crafted from scratch by our team of in-house Journey Planners to make sure you are not only visiting the best destinations, but at the best time to experience them.

For us, it’s not just about where we go but how we take you there. We put as much time into planning scenic cruising as we do in choosing the destinations themselves. On board, our Signature Experiences showcase the history, culture, nature and flavours of the destinations you’ll visit – from Treats of the Region, where you can enjoy local delicacies, to our Sky at Sea star-gazing sessions where you can relax with a hot toddy out on deck while our astronomer talks you through the night sky.

Plus, with each ship carrying 1,300 guests or less, our ships are small enough for us to offer a warm, friendly and personal service where nothing is ever too much trouble, as we visit a host of exciting ports in every corner of the globe.
