Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines Awarded for Outstanding Achievement in Food Service at the 2026 MIDAS Awards

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has received a MIDAS Award in the Travel & Leisure category, recognising the cruise line’s excellence in menu innovation and development within the food and hospitality sector.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines was presented with the award on 5th March at the 2026 MIDAS Awards ceremony, held at The Eastside Rooms in Birmingham.

The accolade celebrates the cruise line’s new Italian menu within Colours & Tastes – one of Fred. Olsen’s three rotating speciality dining menus introduced this year. Inspired by regional flavours from across Italy, the menu brings together timeless, comforting dishes with bright seasonal notes, all designed to offer guests a warm and authentic dining experience on board.

Corporate Executive Chef Zoe Hayward attended the ceremony on behalf of Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. Hayward joined the company in 2025, bringing more than three decades of culinary experience and a strong background in menu development.
