Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines Celebrates St. Valentine's Day
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines always celebrates St. Valentine’s Day – 14th February - in great style across its fleet, and this year will be no different!
Guests aboard its four smaller, more traditional cruise ships – Balmoral, Braemar, Boudicca and Black Watch – will be able to enjoy a romantic atmosphere, and each will interpret the theme in its own individual way; traditionally, the bars and restaurants are decked out in red and white, and the romantic theme is reflected in the daily quiz, evening entertainment and, of course, the food, with heart-shaped cakes for tea and special St. Valentine’s cocktails in the bars. There is a Valentine’s-themed dinner as well, with a matching dress code, such as ‘Hint of Red’ to inspire guests’ imaginations.
All four Fred. Olsen ships will be well positioned to celebrate this special date; Black Watch is at sea, en route for Malé in the lovely Maldives; Braemar is also at sea, heading for sunny Las Palmas in Gran Canaria; and Boudicca is in Tromsǿ, on her cruise ‘In Search of the Northern Lights’, one of the most romantic and awe-inspiring sights on Earth. Balmoral, in the middle of her epic ‘World Cruise’ – the longest ever undertaken by Fred. Olsen, at 112 nights – will most appropriately be crossing the ‘International ‘Date’ Line’, on her way to Tauranga, New Zealand, on St. Valentine’s Day!
