Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines hosts ship visit to promote its new 2018 Indian Ocean Islands fly-cruises

Staff from Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines hosted 23 group travel organisers on board Braemar at Southampton recently [Wednesday 26^th July] – to promote the company’s new 2018 Indian Ocean Islands fly-cruises.

Group travel organisers were treated to a ‘Welcome Drinks’ reception, a guided tour of the ship and a fantastic lunch before 929-guest ship Braemar headed off on her ten-night ‘Tall Ships & Cultural Trips’ Baltic exploration the same day.

After enjoying a presentation on the destinations and itineraries that groups could experience on a Fred. Olsen fly-cruise, the group travel organisers were each given a cuddly toy lemur to take home.

Sylvia Saxon, from Saxon Group Travel, who is also Chair of the New Meridian Association, said: “The ship visit was so interesting. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and from what I was hearing, a few will be seriously considering a cruise with Fred. Olsen, with their groups, in the future.”

Sylvia is currently promoting a 14-night ‘Cruising to the Heart of the Baltic’ group sailing on board Braemar, on behalf of Saxon Group Travel. The cruise departs from Southampton in September 2018.

Graham Jenkins, of the Door-to-Door Theatre Club, who also attended the event, said: “Having a guided tour of Braemar was a great experience.
