Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines unveils its first-ever ‘Islands of the Indian Ocean’ fly-cruise
Today [3rd May 2016], Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has launched its first-ever ‘Islands of the Indian Ocean’ fly-cruise, on board 880-guest Boudicca. Departing from London or Manchester on 29th November 2017, guests can enjoy an idyllic 15-night paradise holiday, spending two days in Mauritius, three days in the Seychelles, two days in Madagascar, a day on Reunion Island and a day on Mayotte, returning to the UK on 14th December 2017. This ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ holiday is available to book from 3rd May until 6th May 2016 for previous Fred. Olsen guests, and will go on general sale on 7th May 2016.
Nathan Philpot, Sales and Marketing Director for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said:
“We are extremely excited to be launching our first ever fly-cruise to the Indian Ocean region. It is an exquisite part of the world, with some of the very best beaches – such as Flic en Flac, Anse Lazio and Cote D’Or – as well as rainforests, National Parks, extinct volcanoes and beautiful flora and fauna. There will be opportunities to walk with lions, discover giant tortoises, see black lemurs and even go in search of the rare black parrot!
“Hotels and flights to destinations in the Indian Ocean are very costly, and it is near-impossible to visit this number of islands and enjoy so much of the scenery on a land-based holiday. We have painstakingly researched and planned every detail of this cruise holiday to offer our guests the very best experience, all for a very reasonable price.
“The phrase ‘Book now, to avoid disappointment!’ is often over-used: however as the only UK cruise line offering this very special holiday, we would urge holidaymakers to do so, before they miss out!”
Details of this cruise are as follows:
Boudicca’s 15-night D1726 ‘Islands of the Indian Ocean’ cruise, departing from London or Manchester on 29th November 2017. Prices start from £2,699 per person (including return flights), based on two adults sharing a twin-bedded Interior Room.
