Fred. Olsen has launched the new season of its popular autumn and winter Music at Sea cruises, headed this year by singing legend Lulu, who will be joined on board Boudicca by jazz saxophonist, Leo Green and his band The Leo Green Experience, performing hits from Motown Records, this year celebrating its 50th Anniversary.
Back by popular demand are The Drifters – the longest running band in popular music history. Other big names include Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen and sixties pop group, The Merseybeats.
Musical styles in the programme include Latin, Jazz, Opera and Soul – and there is comedy from Jimmy Tarbuck with long-term collaborator Kenny Lynch, as well as Jim Bowen, to complete the formidable entertainment line-up.

Marketing Manager Mike Bird said: “This is by far the best entertainment line up we have ever offered on our Music at Sea cruises and the value for money is unbeatable, when you consider that top class entertainment is included, along with all the other delights of a Fred. Olsen cruise. Also, because of the human scale of our ships you get to see and hear these great entertainers up close in a way impossible in a large concert hall, where stars like Lulu and The Drifters normally perform. The fact that our prices are all in sterling makes the cruise even better value for money.”
