Fred. Olsen launches new ‘Book with Confidence’ campaign on selected 2017 cruises

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has launched a new ‘Book with Confidence’ campaign, aimed at reassuring guests that a Fred. Olsen cruise holiday offers complete peace of mind. The campaign – which runs until 5th August 2016 – is applicable on all 2017 cruises of five nights’ duration and more, and is made up of the following three strands:

  • Free-of-charge cancellation – guests can book any 2017 cruise of five nights’ duration and more and – if they cancel up to 90 days prior to departure – Fred. Olsen will refund the full deposit, no questions asked!
  • Free spending money ashore – guests will receive 200 Euros (or equivalent currency, depending on the cruise) per room spending money, courtesy of Fred. Olsen.
  • Weekly ‘added value’ benefits – each week throughout the campaign, Fred. Olsen will be offering an additional benefit to any guest making a booking within that week. Guests booking within the first week, up to 22nd July 2016, can qualify for a free shore tour, valued at up to £50 per person.

Neil Herbert, Head of Sales at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said:

“We know that holidaymakers want to look forward to their cruise, feeling confident that they have spent their leisure money wisely. At Fred. Olsen, our cruise fares and prices on board are all in Sterling; therefore, when the exchange rate is against the Pound, our guests are not impacted in quite the same way as someone booking a land-based holiday in Spain or Greece, for example.

“However, we appreciate that, for some of our guests, the current uncertainty surrounding the value of the Pound may be a cause for concern. Therefore, we have created our new ‘Book with Confidence’ campaign, which we hope will encourage guests to book their 2017 holiday, safe in the knowledge that their Fred. Olsen cruise is protected with fixed costs and a no-charge cancellation policy.”

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines

At Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines we are very proud of our smaller ships – Bolette, Borealis and Balmoral - and the imaginative and unusual itineraries they allow us to offer. Every cruise is hand-crafted from scratch by our team of in-house Journey Planners to make sure you are not only visiting the best destinations, but at the best time to experience them.

For us, it’s not just about where we go but how we take you there. We put as much time into planning scenic cruising as we do in choosing the destinations themselves. On board, our Signature Experiences showcase the history, culture, nature and flavours of the destinations you’ll visit – from Treats of the Region, where you can enjoy local delicacies, to our Sky at Sea star-gazing sessions where you can relax with a hot toddy out on deck while our astronomer talks you through the night sky.

Plus, with each ship carrying 1,300 guests or less, our ships are small enough for us to offer a warm, friendly and personal service where nothing is ever too much trouble, as we visit a host of exciting ports in every corner of the globe.
