Fred. Olsen Launches Scenic Summer Cruise Brochure

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has just launched a mini-brochure featuring summer and autumn 2009 cruises to northerly destinations.

The brochure includes cruises aboard all five Fred. Olsen ships – Balmoral, Black Watch, Boudicca, Braemar and Black Prince – to exciting destinations such as the Arctic, Baltic, Lapland, Iceland, the Norwegian fjords and the North Cape.  Selected cruises offer additional attractions such as Flagship Golf – an exclusive package for golfers – The ArtsClub, an informal programme of special interests and Civilisations, for a more in-depth cultural experience.

The cruises depart from a range of UK ports including Dover, Southampton, Greenock, Leith (Edinburgh), and Newcastle.

Sample cruises:-

Boudicca Norwegian Vistas (BD0922) – a classic fjord cruise of seven nights departing from Newcastle on 12th September 2009, visiting the Norwegian ports of Andalsnes, Alesund, Olden, Flam, Gudvangen and Bergen, returning to Newcastle. Prices from £765 per person

Balmoral Baltic Highlights (BL0918) – 12 nights departing from Dover on 14th September 2009 visiting Copenhagen, Stockholm, Tallinn, St Petersburg, Helsinki and Travemunde.  Delete Berlin – no tours from Travemunde.Prices from £1,096 per person

Braemar Around Iceland (BM0914) – 14 nights departing from Dover on 4th July 2009 and visiting Invergordon in Scotland, Icelandic ports of Seydisfjordur, Akureyri and Reykjavik, Torshavn in the Faroes and Dublin, returning to Dover. Prices from £1,120 per person

Black Watch Ireland and Islands – BW0911 Ten nights from Southampton leaving 3rd August 2009 and visiting St Peter Port (Guernsey), Dublin, Liverpool, Stornaway (Lewis), Kirkwall (Orkneys), Leith and returning to Southampton – prices from £961 per person  This cruise has a theme of Music and Dance through The ArtsClub
