Fred. Olsen staff eat cake and give generously for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust...to raise an impressive £153.50!

Generous cake-lovers at Ipswich-based Fred. Olsen were today [24th August 2017] pleased to get behind their colleague Bonnie Clifford, Booking Support Administrator, with a Cake Bake Sale in aid of her chosen charity, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, to raise an impressive £153.50!

As well as the Cystic Fibrosis Trust being one of Fred. Olsen's three designated staff charities for 2017/18, Bonnie has chosen it as her fundraising cause for the Great North Run in Newcastle on 10th September 2017, when she will be running a challenging 13.2 miles to raise much-needed monies.

Speaking of today's successful fundraising efforts, Bonnie commented:

"I just want to say a massive thank-you to everyone who bought cakes today and to all the bakers who have helped to raise such a massive amount. I am so grateful for all your support.

"Adding this to my Great North Run sponsorship so far, I am up to a total of £768.50, which will make a tremendous difference to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

"I cannot believe that we have raised that much, and I am so pleased!"

Bonnie hopes to raise as much money as possible for this important charity.

In 2017/18, Fred. Olsen staff are supporting Ipswich Hospital Baby Bereavement Group, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Suffolk MIND.
