‘Fred. Olsen’s On the Case’! Travel agents to receive FREE case of wine for bookings in ‘Save £100 per person’ campaign, valid on almost every August and September 2019 sailing

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is offering travel agents a FREE case of wine for bookings made onto a new ‘Save £100 per person’ offer, with the launch of its ‘Fred. Olsen’s On the Case’ campaign, for all bookings made by 13th August inclusive.

All travel agents need to do to qualify is to use the promotional code ‘WINE100’ at the time of booking, which will apply the £100 per person saving and allow the agency to claim a free case of wine from Virgin Wines online. Please note, travel agents will only be able to claim one free case of wine per week.

It means that, not only can holidaymakers enjoy great savings on a last minute summer holiday – with an extra £100 per person off almost every ocean and river sailing with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines in August and September, on top of existing offers – but every travel agent to make a booking under the scheme will qualify to receive a case of eight bottles of wine, completely free as part of its ‘Fred. Olsen is on the Case’ campaign.

Geoff Ridgeon, Head of Sales at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said:

“Last year we launched our ‘Big Fred. Olsen Giveaway’, giving one lucky travel agent the chance to win a car. This year, we wanted to reward the hard work of all of our dedicated and loyal travel agents, without whom we simply could not operate.

“With that in mind, every travel agent who makes a booking under our latest campaign, saving guests £100 per person off the lead-in price, even when there are other offers in play, will receive a free case of wine from Virgin Wines.

“It is a great way for us to reward our customers with great savings, while also rewarding the travel agents who sell our cruises.

“Whether your customer is looking for a relaxing break in the sunshine, or wants a holiday where they can get out and explore, we are sure there is an itinerary to suit everyone.”

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has defined and redefined the cruise experience, and judging by the number of passengers that come back time and again, we seem to have styled it to perfection

The company originated in Hvitsten, a small town on Oslofjord in Norway, in 1848 when three Olsen brothers – Fredrik Christian, Petter and Andreas – bought their first ships and began an international shipping company.

Now into the fifth generation of the family, they operate companies skilled in various aspects of the cruise and passenger shipping trade as well as aviation, ships’ crewing, shipbuilding and offshore industries.
Aside from the transportation industries, the Fred. Olsen group also has interests in the luxury hotel sector, estate management, property development, and electronics companies.

Offices for the company are spread throughout the world, although the company headquarters remain firmly in the family’s hands in Oslo and Tenerife. Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is based in Ipswich in Suffolk.
