Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines – voted ‘Best Affordable Cruise Line’ and runner-up ‘Best Cruise Line’ in the prestigious ‘Cruise International Awards 2013’ – will have a team of experts on hand at this autumn’s Telegraph CRUISE Show in Glasgow, to be held at the SECC on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October 2013, ready to inspire and inform visitors on the right kind of Fred. Olsen cruise for them.

The Glasgow CRUISE Show will be held from 10am to 5pm on 5th October 2013 and from 10am to 4pm on 6th October 2013, and provides a showcase for the cruise industry, giving visitors interested in cruising a flavour of the different types of cruise holiday open to them.

Award-winning Fred. Olsen will have a team of knowledgeable experts available on Stand D30 to provide visitors with useful, informed advice on the wide variety of cruises and itineraries, and the newly-published Fred. Olsen ‘Worldwide Cruises 2014/15’ brochure will also be available. Visitors booking a Fred. Olsen cruise on the day can save up to an extra £325 per person off brochure fares and special offers. In addition, one of the Fred. Olsen team will be giving a presentation on 'Discover The Fred. Olsen Difference' over the weekend.

There will also be the chance for visitors to the Fred. Olsen stand to win a mini-cruise for two, of up to four nights’ duration, by entering a prize draw.

Fred. Olsen will be operating a total of six departures from Scotland for the 2014/15 cruise season; Boudicca will beoffering two sailings from Greenock in September 2014 – to the ‘Norwegian Fjords’ and ‘Portugal & the Azores’ – and Black Watch will be cruising from Rosyth to the ‘Norwegian Fjords’, ‘Scandinavia & St. Petersburg’, ‘UK & Ireland’ and ‘France, Spain & Guernsey’ in July, August and September 2014.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines

At Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines we are very proud of our smaller ships – Bolette, Borealis and Balmoral - and the imaginative and unusual itineraries they allow us to offer. Every cruise is hand-crafted from scratch by our team of in-house Journey Planners to make sure you are not only visiting the best destinations, but at the best time to experience them.

For us, it’s not just about where we go but how we take you there. We put as much time into planning scenic cruising as we do in choosing the destinations themselves. On board, our Signature Experiences showcase the history, culture, nature and flavours of the destinations you’ll visit – from Treats of the Region, where you can enjoy local delicacies, to our Sky at Sea star-gazing sessions where you can relax with a hot toddy out on deck while our astronomer talks you through the night sky.

Plus, with each ship carrying 1,300 guests or less, our ships are small enough for us to offer a warm, friendly and personal service where nothing is ever too much trouble, as we visit a host of exciting ports in every corner of the globe.
