Sale of Fred. Olsen's Black Prince Confirmed
An agreement to sell the Fred. Olsen cruise ship, Black Prince, has today been confirmed by the vessel’s owning company, Black Prince Cruise Ltd.
Purchase of the 451 passenger vessel has been agreed with Servicios Acuaticos de Venezuela CA (SAVECA) through U S Shipbrokers of Florida, USA.
Completion of the sale and the delivery of Black Prince to SAVECA will take place shortly after its last cruise finishes in Southampton on 16th October, 2009. It is understood that the vessel will be used as a cruise ship operating in Venezuelan waters.

With the sale of the Black Prince after October, the Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines fleet will consist of four vessels: Black Watch, Boudicca, Braemar and Balmoral.
