Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ is offering holidaymakers in and around the Essex area a choice of two festive sailings from London Cruise Terminal, London Tilbury in December 2016, on board 804-guest ship Black Watch; a seven-night W1624 ‘German & Danish Christmas Markets’ cruise, departing on 15th December 2016; or an 11-night W1625 ‘Tinsel & Hogmanay’ departure, leaving on 22nd December 2016.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines will be hosting the first-ever game of ‘Walking Football at Sea’ on 31st October 2016, when 804-guest ship 'Black Watch' calls at Harwich. The event is being held in partnership with the Suffolk Football Association – co-ordinators of Walking Football across the county – and will see up to 12 players take part in 10/15-minute games on the ship’s top deck.

Olsen Cruise Lines has once again triumphed at the ‘Group Leisure Awards’, after being voted ‘Best Cruise Line for Groups’ by readers of leading travel title, 'Group Leisure' magazine, for a record sixth time! The prestigious award recognises the very best groups cruise experience, from the initial booking process to onboard facilities, and the quality of excursions on offer.

Staff at Fred. Olsen’s Head Office in Ipswich host a charity ‘Dress Down Day’ and present Inspire Suffolk, St. Elizabeth Hospice and East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice’s  with their ‘Charity Ball’ cheque for £10,000!

The generous staff at Ipswich-based Fred. Olsen – comprising Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, Fred. Olsen Travel and Fred. Olsen Limited – dug deep in their pockets earlier this year to raise a staggering £10,000 at their ‘Charity Ball’, which they have donated jointly to their three chosen staff charities for 2016: St. Elizabeth Hospice, East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (‘EACH’) and Inspire Suffolk.
