  • Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines voluntarily pauses departures until 23rd May 2020

    Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has taken the difficult decision to pause our cruise operations for a period of time, as many other cruise operators have already done. This is in light of the recent announcement from the UK Government which advises those aged over 70, or with underlying health issues, not to take cruise holidays.

  • Braemar's 'Western Caribbean & Central America' fly-cruise update - 11/03/2020

    Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has taken the decision to cancel the next cruise of its ship Braemar – ‘Islands of the Caribbean & the Azores’ (M2006) – after a small number of guests and crew who are currently on board tested positive for COVID-19 Coronavirus. Braemar is currently in the Caribbean on a 14-night ‘Western Caribbean & Central America’ cruise.

  • 'Braemar' Caribbean update 03.03.20

    Guests who were aboard its ship 'Braemar', as part of the ‘Eastern Caribbean’ fly-cruise, arrived back in the UK yesterday, Monday 2nd March 2020. Guests from La Romana, Dominican Republic are now safely on board 'Braemar', and are due to arrive in Port Royal, Jamaica tomorrow, Wednesday 4th March 2020.

    ​Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines can confirm that guests who were aboard its ship 'Braemar', as part of the ‘Eastern Caribbean’ fly-cruise, are in the air to the UK today, Monday 2nd March 2020, on two chartered flights from St Maarten. Guests from La Romana, Dominican Republic are now safely on board Braemar, and the ship has set sail for Port Royal, Jamaica.
